Paul David Bell

Paul David Bell, 90, of Millersville, Missouri passed away peacefully February 11, 2026 surrounded by his loving wife and children. He was born June 21, 1935 in Sikeston, Missouri to William Thomas Bell and Odie Mae Beck Bell. He and Janet Kinder were married on October 24, 1987. Paul spent over 23 years spreading inspiration and preaching and holding Sunday services at the Monticello Home in Jackson, Missouri and Veterans Home in Jackson, Missouri. He loved making meaningful connections with veterans and hearing their stories. He dedicated over 30 years to General Sign Company until his retirement in 1998. He was of Gospel Assemble faith. Survivors include six children, Paula (Eric) Hicks of Chaffee, Missouri, Kathy (John) Mackey of Burfordville, Missouri, Michael Bell of Millersville, Missouri, Gary (Michelle) Hurst of Springfield, Missouri, Jeff (Angela) Hurst of Pana, Illinois and Amy (Blyn) Reimann of Jackson, Missouri; eight grandchildren, Bridgitte Rendleman of Jackson, Missouri, Beth Little of Scott City and David Little of Fort Knox, Kentucky, Melissa Gramm of Benton, Missouri, Melanie Scheffer of Cape Girardeau, Missouri and Bobby Scheffer of Scott City, Missouri, Justin LeGrand of Marble Hill, Missouri, Cameron Hurst and Blake Reimann; sixteen great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Vida Bell and Wanda Reed; four brothers, Carter Bell, Raymond Bell, Henry Bell and Maloy Bell; mother-in-law, Wava Kinder and father-in-law, Glenn Kinder. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm on Friday, February 13, 2026 at Ford & Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel, 1001 N. Mt. Auburn Rd, Cape Girardeau, Missouri 63701. Funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at the funeral home with the Pastor Jason Grubbs officiating. Burial will be at Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be given to the Missouri Veterans Home.
