Patricia Mueller

Patricia (Patty) Ann Mueller, 79, departed this world for Heavenly Glory on January 8, 2012 after suffering a massive stroke and ensuing complications. Pat and husband Milton currently reside in Cape Girardeau, previously lived in Bertrand, Mo. for 28 years, and originally from the St.Louis area. Pat is survived by her husband Milton, six children, 14 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren. Pat and Milton have been active members at three Lutheran congregations during their married lives � Immanuel -Olivette, Concordia-Sikeston, Good Shepherd-Cape Girardeau. Arrangements are: visitation from 4 � 8pm at Ford & Sons Mt. Auburn Funeral Home � Cape Girardeau on January 9; 10 am visitation and 11am Service at Good Shepherd Lutheran on January 10, and Interment at Sikeston Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston at 2:30pm. Father Wesley Vilda with sister Louise and brother Wesley II lived in St.Louis near Maplewood. Pat and Milton were married November 25, 1951 in St.Louis at Immanuel Lutheran � Olivette where they were active in many facets of church and community activities. They owned and worked a vegetable farm and greenhouse operation in Creve Coeur for 20 years when they relocated the farm operation to southeast Mo. in Bertrand. While living and working the farm and greenhouses in Bertand they were active members at Concordia, Sikeston until their retirement. Their next home was to Saxony village retirement complex in Cape Girardeau, and they moved their church membership to Good Shepherd Lutheran. In each of their homes and home congregations they made many friends and gave many hours of volunteer service. Pat was very active in assorted groups and clubs � 4H Club Leader, Mississippi County Extension Club Leader, Lutheran Womens Missionary League, Church Ladies Aids, and other projects. Her wish and encouragement for family and friends has always been �love the Lord and love one another as He loved us�.
