Patricia "Pat" Miller-Williams

Patricia "Pat" Miller-Williams, 86, of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family. Born in 1939, daughter of the late Edison Evans and Hallie Christine Baker Crutcher. Pat was a strong, professional, and deeply caring woman. She began her career working in a dental office and later helped build a family beauty and barber business. Pat went on to become one of the first managers of Casual Corner in Cape Girardeau. Following a wonderful career in retail, she continued working at Macy's in Cape Girardeau, where she loved greeting customers and friends from the community. Pat also served as Head of Volunteer Services at St. Francis Medical Center, touching countless lives with her warmth, leadership, and dedication. She valued hard work, honesty, and kindness, and was well known for her signature style - lipstick and earrings were never optional. Family was always her heart. She was a devoted mother to Steve (Susan Miller) of Jackson, Missouri, and Cathy (John) Dirnberger of St. Charles, Missouri and Thomas Allen Miller (preceeded in death) (Wendy) of Jemison, Alabama. Pat was a proud grandmother and great-grandmother - lovingly known as "GMA Pat" to eight grandchildren, John Tyler (Kara Beck) Dirnberger of St. Louis, Missouri, Nick (Katie) Dirnberger of Moscow Mills, Missouri, Adam (Amanda) Dirnberger of Niles, Illinois, Kelcie Miller of Vilas, North Carolina, Kyle Miller of Cheney, Washington, Kyleigh (Curtis) Felker of Jackson, Missouri, Slade Selsor of Cape Girardeau and Stone (Lacie) Selsor of St. Charles, Missouri; and "GG Pat" to twelve great-grandchildren - as well as a cherished aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Dwight Williams; her parents; her son, Thomas Allen Miller; three sisters, Mary Pippens, Betty Ann Mouser and Judy Rimel; and one brother, William Evans. Pat spent nearly ten years at Saxony Village and her final year at Auburn Creek, surrounded by friends and family who adored her. She will be remembered for her strength, humor, grace, and unwavering love. Pat was a member of Maple United Methodist Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Journey Hospice, St. Francis Auxiliary, or a charity of the donor's choice. Visitation will be 10:00 am to 12:00 pm Thursday, February 5, 2026 at Ford & Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau. Funeral service will follow 12:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home. Private burial will be in Dexter, Missouri.
