Bessie R. Bozarth

Bessie R. Bozarth, 93, of Cape Girardeau, Missouri died Wednesday, December 09, 2015 at The Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. She was born October 14, 1922 in Cape Girardeau County, to Maple and Rose Nabe Foeste. She and Mahlon H. (Lefty) Bozarth were married at Reno, NV in 1946. They were married 37 years until his passing in 1983. Both Bessie and Lefty worked for many years at the Superior Electric plant in Cape Girardeau until it closed. Bessie had a strong faith in God and was a faithful member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau. Bessie lived life everyday full of energy, walking twice a day and going dancing 3 times a week. Her specialty was running errands for her friends. She loved her family and special friends and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Survivors include : Sister-in-law - Dorothy R. Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau. Funeral service will be Friday at 2:00pm at the funeral home with the Rev. Douglas Breite officiating. Entombment will be at Memorial Park Mausoleum in Cape Girardeau. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to Trinity Lutheran Church 100 N. Frederick Cape Girardeau, MO 63701.
