Teddy Richard Coalter

Ted Richard Coalter was born April 12, 1953, in St. Louis, MO and left this earth to be with his Savior on Sunday, March 11, 2012. His surviving parents are Stan and Pat Coalter, of Round Rock, Texas and Bob and Peggy Webb, of Ste, Genevieve, Missouri, He is also survived by his spouse of 33 years, Debbie Coalter, of Cape Girardeau, Missouri and his children Jason Coalter and family of Cape Girardeau and Laura Parker and family of Sikeston. He is also survived by 3 brothers and 2 sisters 4 grandchildren as well as many extended family members. Ted graduated from Ste. Genevieve Senior High School in 1971. He proudly served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War in 1972. He then went on to graduate from Southeast Missouri State University in 1976 with a BS Degree in Business Administration, In his entrepreneurial spirit, Ted started Coalter Financial Strategies, (formerly know as Heartland Insurance) and The Print Co. (formerly known as Cape Girardeau Printing) . He was very active in numerous charitable organizations as well as the Cape Girardeau community. He was most active in the Cape Girardeau Shrine Club, River Heritage Life Underwriters, Old Town Cape and Cape West Rotary, serving as President for each of these organizations. He was also a member of the Elks, Eagles and American Legion. Ted strongly believed in working hard to make a difference in our community. Ted was a man of strong faith and conviction and was a member of St. Vincent DePaul Parish in Cape Girardeau. That faith and conviction was passed on to his family and countless numbers of people who were blessed to know him through his life. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 13, 2012 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Ford & Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel with parrish prayers at 7:00 PM. Memorial Mass will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church with Rev. David Hulshof officiating. Full Military Honors by the Missouri Honors Team will be conducted at the church. Memorial contributions may be given to Shriners Hospital for Children, 2001 Lindbergh Blvd. St. Louis, MO. 63131
