Sharon Louise Armour Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

On July 27, 2022, Sharon Louise Miley Armour earned her wings and went home to be with the Lord. Sharon lived to the fullest and she had her share of life’s ups and downs, but most importantly, she loved unconditionally. She was beautiful, intelligent, smart, and ambitious with a heart of gold. The essence of Sharon was her love and compassion for people. Her journey started July 3, 1953, when she was born to loving and caring parents, Joan Priscila and Jonathan Miley who both preceded her in death. She was the second of three children. She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister. Survivors include her 5 children, 13 grandchildren, brothers, sisters, and a host of nieces and nephews. In 1994, Sharon found her sweet spot in life when she became the owner of Jefferson Manor, known as "The Home with a Heart" where she took care of people that had a variety of disabilities. She gave them a home away from home by cooking 3 home cooked meals a day and assisting them with whatever they needed. They all referred to her as their mom. She loved traveling, spending time with family, cooking, and shopping. She also enjoyed watching crime T.V. in her free time. Throughout her life she was a devoted Christian and had been a member of Second Missionary Baptist Church where she served in various roles for over 20 years. Funeral service will be Friday, Aug. 5, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel with Pastors Joshua Gilyard and Andrew Miley officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior. Burial will follow at Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery. Donations in memory of Sharon may be given to the family.
