Reba G. Enderle

January 18, 1936 - April 3, 2022

Reba G. Enderle, 86, of Cape Girardeau, passed away Sunday, April 3, 2022, at Chateau Girardeau. She was born Jan. 18, 1936, in Gale, Illinois to the late Roy and Ida Corzine Simmons. Reba worked as a licensed practical nurse at both Southeast Hospital and later at St. Francis Medical Center, Chateau Health Center and then retired from the Missouri Veterans Home. She was a member of the United Methodist Women’s Circle and attended Maple Grove United Methodist Church. She and Tom Enderele were married Sep. 23, 1995, in East Cape, Illinois. Survivors include her husband, Tom of Cape Girardeau; daughters, Gwendolyn Edwards, Loretta Dodson and Joan (Rodney) Simmons, all of Cape Girardeau; step-son, Rodney (Kathy) Enderle of Jackson; sister, Sherry Reynolds of Cape Girardeau; grandchildren, Zachary (Katie) Rendleman, Tyler and Lacey Rendleman, Will (Conner) Simmons, Cody and Holly Dodson, Derrick (Rachel) Bangert, Cody (Whitney) Bangert; great-grandchildren, Reece Rendleman, Ivan Edwards, Carter Primm, Vanessa, Dakota, and Braelyn Bangert; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Ronnie Edwards; brothers, Roy, Bill, James, and Marvie Simmons; sisters, Marie Snell, and Wilma Simmons. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 5, 2022, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel. Funeral service will be Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Stan Hargis officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Thebes, Illinois.
