Mary "Molly" Evans Auer

Mary "Molly" Elizabeth Evans Auer, 70, of Cape Girardeau, Missouri died Friday, February 25, 2022 at her home. She was born February 15, 1952 in Cape Girardeau to Robert C. and Mary Frissell Evans. She and John B. Auer were married May 8, 2001 at Mooresville, North Carolina. He preceded her in death on July 22, 2004. Her biggest passion was her family. Her hobbies were reading her bible, crystal mining, horseback riding, gardening, traveling and living life to the fullest. Her famous words were "I love you, God Bless". Survivors include three daughters, Carlin (Glenn) Halter, Kristy Halter, Tamara (Michael) Dannenmueller; one son, TJ (Debra) Halter; one step-son, Luke Auer; one step-daughter, Tamara Auer; two brothers, Louis (Mary) Evans and William (Karen) Evans; 14 grandchildren, Lauren, Jason, Sierra (Cole), Molly (Anthony), Lane, Kadence, Trey (Calli), Trevor, Tyler, Trenton, Tucker, Daelyn, Nevaeh and Mikyla; three great-grandchildren, Willow, Leo and Enzo. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; step-son, Johnny (Denean) Auer; and two brothers, Robert C. Evans, Jr. and Pat Evans. Visitation will be 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, March 4, 2022 at Ford & Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau. Funeral service will be at 10:00 am Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Ford & Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau with the Pastor Keith officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
