Margaret M. Hirschfield, 80, of Cape Girardeau, Missouri died Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at St. Francis Medical Center. She was born April 28, 1940 in Chicago, Illinois to Rev. Thomas and Helen Allen. She married Ted Hirschfield. She worked for Drury Industries for many years. She and her husband retired and moved to the Gulf Coast of Florida. After Ted's death she moved back to Cape and took residence at Chateau Girardeau. She was a Cardinal baseball fan and enjoyed gardening, especially growing roses. She also enjoyed traveling in the Southwestern United States. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau. Survivors include a brother, Dr. Thomas Allen of Oklahoma and a granddaughter, Cassondra N. Calvin of Perryville, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Ann Calvin; and a sister, Janice Lahman. There will be no services at this time.
