    Lynniah Lashay Wheeler

    July 10, 2014 - March 13, 2022

Lynniah LaShay Wheeler, also known as "Itty Bitty Nyiah", was born on July 10, 2014 in Cape Girardeau Mo, the daughter of Christen Michelle Wheeler and Justin Blackmon. Lynniah was a member of Grand Avenue Seventh- Day Adventist Church in Charleston MO. She attended Blanchard Elementary School in Cape Girardeau as a 2nd grader where she was a Social Skills Superstar. Lynniah was a special little girl. She touched so many heart and lives. She would help you in a heartbeat. She loved to clean and loved to make Tik Tok videos, especially with her older sister, Jy'Zaria. She was her sister's shadow, looked up to her and wanted to be just like her. You could always find her in her sister's room so she could be close to her. Lynniah was the baby of the family and was truly a mama's girl. Everywhere her mom went, she wanted to be there with her. She always asked her mom, "Do you have to work today?' and always waited for her to get home. Her brother, Torrance, was a football athlete and she was his greatest cheerleader. She was always decked out in her Cape Central Tigers hoodie and was on the frontline cheering for him…and running around with her friends. Lynniah also loved her family and God very much. When her Aunt Lucy had surgery and couldn't work for a few months, she went by to visit and to take her gifts and snacks every day. She also was there helping her meme when she went through her chemo treatments. She was truly a servant. She was just a little angel. She loved to play Fortnite with her cousin JJ and his friends. Everything she ate was "bussin, bussin." She also loved to play games, even if it was by herself. She loved to sing and always loved to dance. Lynniah was a spunky, sassy little girl who loved to get dressed up and always had the cutest bows in her hair. She loved gymnastics and loved to show everyone her great cartwheel skills. She was an all-around great daughter, sister, niece, cousin and student. She leaves to cherish precious memories to her mother Christen Michelle Wheeler and father Justin Blackmon, one brother Torrance LeEdward Murray, one sister Jy'Zaria LaShay Murray, grandmother Doris Jean Wheeler. Three aunts Ashley Dawn Wheeler, Janelle (Robert) Bogan, and Unestine Johnson. Four special first cousins, Makya Kellum, R'Mani Bogan, Romari Bogan, and JJ Blackmon. Great aunts and uncles (Boo, Dully, Rebaby, Lucy, Muggie, Poochie, Blow, Alesha, and Dion). And her very special friend "LJ" Lewis, and a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Visitation will be 10:00 am to 12:00 pm Saturday at Ford & Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau. Funeral service will follow at 12:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Reo Johnson officiating. Burial will be at Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
