Judith "Jurea" Coomer, 82, of Chaffee, Missouri died Sunday, March 20, 2022 at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born October 30, 1939 in Cape Girardeau, to Elmer Daume and Edith Marie Conrad. She and Earle "Bill" William Coomer were married on November 23, 1959 at Greenville, SC. She was a Missouri Teacher and a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University earning her Masters Degree. She taught at Puxico, Bell City, Parkview State School and home schooled in Perryville. She retired in the early 80's. Survivors include two sons, William Earle Coomer, III of Cape Girardeau, Dai (Betty) Vernon Coomer of Cape Girardeau; daughter, Fawn Coomer of Chaffee, Missouri; 13 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and one brother. Visitation will be 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, March 31, 2022 at Ford & Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau. Funeral Service will be at 1:30 pm Friday, April 1, 2022 at Ford & Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau. Burial will be at Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
