Barbara J. Henson, 87, of Jackson, Missouri died Monday, December 20, 2021 at Monticello House. She was born July 6, 1934 in Dorena, Missouri to George Morris and Ethel Mae Caperton Wolford. She and Johnnie David Henson were married August 18, 1976 in Cape Girardeau. He preceded her in death on January 28, 2010. She was a beautician for over 50 years. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Cape Girarddeau. Survivors include three sons, Stanley (Ute) Smith, Shane (Lisa) Selsor and Tommy (Mary Jo) Selsor of all of Jackson, Missouri; two brothers, Logan Wolford of East Prairie, Missouri and Kenneth Wolford of Benton, Missouri; five grandchildren, Stephen Smith of San Antonio, Texas, Slade Selsor of Cape Girardeau, Stone Selsor of St. Louis, Missouri, Tommy Selsor of Jackson, Missouri and Ty Selsor of Jackson, Missouri; and three great-grandchildren, Brantlee Selsor, Parker Selsor and Carsyn Selsor. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Atlas Wolford; and two sisters, Robbie Faye Wright and Margie Miller. Visitation will be 11:00 am to 1:30 pm on Sunday, December 26, 2021 at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau. Funeral service will follow at 1:30 pm Sunday at the funeral home with the Rev. Frank Burgess officiating. Burial will be at Fairmount Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
