Kathy Drury

Kathryn Geralyn Drury, 66, of Marquand passed away Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2025, at her residence. She was born Nov. 21, 1958, in St. Louis to Robert and Anna Rose Heisserer Drury. Kathy was a woman whose zest for life and devotion to her loved ones shone brightly in everything she did. Her passions in life reflected her adventurous and joyful spirit. Kathy had a special love for rock collecting, finding beauty in each unique piece she discovered. The stones she gathered from creek beds now grace the landscaping around her home, a lasting reflection of the joy she found in nature and the care with which she chose each one. She delighted in time spent riding horses, embracing the freedom and peace they brought. Kathy also had a deep love for all animals, especially the joy she found in caring for her baby goats, who brought endless laughter and companionship to her. More than anything, she treasured the moments spent with her family and friends; whether gathered at home or traveling together on family vacations, making memories that will last forever. She will be remembered for her warmth, her unwavering love and her deep appreciation for the simple and beautiful things in life. Her legacy lives on through her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who will carry forward her love, laughter, and adventurous spirit. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Kathy’s legacy continues through her children Andrea Wilkinson, Katie (Craig) Kiefer, and Kyle Davis along with her grandchildren Megan Wilkinson, Sydney Wilkinson, Lance Wilkinson, Taylor Kiefer, Hannah Kiefer, Colten Kiefer, Dylan Koehler and Sunshine Koehler. She was further blessed as a great-grandmother to eight cherished great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her endless pride and happiness. She is also lovingly remembered by her brother, Rick (ReBeca) Drury, and her sister, Julie (Bruce) Williams. Kathy’s memory will also be carried on by her devoted aunt, Carolyn, who held a special place in her heart. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Anna Rose Drury, along with her daughter, Jennifer Davis. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Sept. 3, at Ford & Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau. A prayer service will begin at noon Wednesday, Sept. 3, at the funeral home, with Deacon Tom Schumer officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Jeffrey Bohnert Athletic Endowment Fund at Notre Dame Regional High School.
