James Alan LaMouria

James Alan LaMouria, 66, of Millersville, MO, died Thursday, June 2, 2011 at his home . He was born April 30, 1945 in Marquette, Michigan to Joseph Peter and Emma Therese VanDorne LaMouria . He and Eileen M. Jack were married November 25, 1981 at Carson City, Nevada. He graduated from University of Nevada at Reno and attended Michigan State University working on his masters degree in child psychology. Mr. LaMouria was the area dicector for seven restaurants in southern Missouri for Buffets Inc.(Ryan's Steak House). He was a member of St. Mary Cathedral in Cape Girardeau. Jim was a loving husband, father and grandfather.He had a wonderful sense of humor.When asked how he was doing his typical wonderful response was "Dandy as Candy". Also as Jim put it, he studied child psychology because he thought of himself as a child and he should learn about himself. He was loyal and generous to his family, his many friends, employers and employees who loved and respected him. Jim wished everyone a good moral spirit. God and family were the center of his life. He will be dearly missed by everyone whose lives he touched Survivors include: Wife - Eileen M. LaMouria , Millersville, MO Son - Joshua (Julie) LaMouria, Jackson, MO Daughters - Janet (Gary) Bannhard, Holt, MI Julie Saunders, Waunakee, WI Jennifer Cremers, Waunakee, WI and Jacqueline (Paul) Walters, Ridgecrest, CA Sister - Yvonne (Tom) Rice, Livonia, MI Brother - James LaMouria, Boulder City , AZ 16 Grandchildren: Eric, Annelise, Melanie, Kenneth, Andrew, Rebecca, Adam, Zachary, Paul, Andrew, Bailey, Sarah, Tony, Jayne, Jillian and Julia He was preceded in death by Parents, Son - James A. Hignite and Son-in-law - Patrick Saunders Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, June 6, 2011 at Ford & Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel with parish prayers and rosary at 7:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at St. Mary Cathedral with the Rev. Tom Kiefer and Rev. Patrick Nwokoye officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery in Cape Girardeau at a later date .
