Harold Siebert

Harold W. Siebert went to be with the Lord on April 2, 2012 surrounded by his beloved wife and 12 loving children and their families. Harold was born in Saint Louis to Lawrence and Anna Siebert and was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister, Leonard, Lawrence, and Norman Siebert, and Lucille Goewert. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Jacqueline (Jackie), and his 12 children: Harold, Rich and Denise, Tom and DeeDee, Jerry and Sandy, Andy and Mary, Bob and Lori, David and Theresa and Scott and Diane Siebert and Barb and Keith Schwartz, Lorrie and Matt Schwartz, Judy and John Hoffmeister, and Amy and Bryan Young. Harold also had 34 grandchildren: Nancy, Steve, Sean, Michael, Travis, Amanda, Mindy, Joe, Annie, Tom, Alicia, Craig, Jason, Brian, Lisa, Katie, Kevin, Kelly, Kyle, Drew, Ben, Lindsay, Ryan, Ashley, Hannah, Claudia, Brandi, Keisha, Michael, Ronnie, Kendall, Mallory, Griffin, Garrett, and 19 great-grandchildren: Lauren, Callan, Ryan, Lydia, Kennedy, Simon, Kora, Silas, Mia, Austin, Michaela, BriAnn, Gage, Liam, Christian, Daniel, Carter, Korben and Gunner who will miss him greatly. He is also survived by a brother and sister, Russell Siebert and Mary Anne Fischer. Harold served in the military during WWII as a medic and was stationed overseas for the bulk of his service. He was a charter member of the Saint Louis Softball Hall of Fame for his prowess on the pitcher�s mound during the heyday of fast pitch softball. Harold was a member of Saint Vincent�s parish for the last 41 years and retired from Florsheim Shoe Company in 1987 after 46 years. Harold never had anything mean to say about anyone and loved attending his kids sporting activities as well as his grandkids. In lieu of flowers, a donation to your favorite charity would be appreciated. Friends may call 4-8 PM Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at Ford & Sons Sprigg St. Funeral Home. Parish prayers will be at 7 PM with Knights of Columbus Rosary immediately following. Funeral mass will be 10:30 AM, Thursday, April 5, 2012 at St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church with the Rev. David Hulshof officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery. Graveside rites will be provided by Missouri Honors Team.
