Leston Morrison, 95, of Cape Girardeau, MO, died Thursday, June 07, 2012 at his home.

He was born February 20, 1917 in Marble Hill, MO. to Chester and Maggie Sadler Morrison .

He and Virginia Huffman were married September 18, 1946 at Drum, MO.

Leston served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII from Jan. 31, 1942 to Nov. 21, 1945 and was a member of VFW Post 3838 in Cape over 50 years.

Wife - Virginia Morrison, Cape Girardeau, MO Son - Darrell Morrison (Ruth Anne), Whitewater, MO Son - Rodger Morrison (Brenda), Huntsville, AL Daughter - Pamela Goodson (fiance` Stephen Weller), Cape Girardeau, MO

Five Grandchildren; Veronica (Matt) of Whitewater, MO., Anthony of Springfield, MO., Dereck (friend Maegen) of Whitewater, MO., George (Erin) of South Carolina, and William of Huntsville, AL.

Four Great grandchildren; Kolton, Michael, Nicholas, and Evan.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Vistation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, June 8, 2012 at Ford & Sons Mt. Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

Funeral will be at 10:00AM Saturday, June 9, 2012 at the funeral home with the Rev. Nancy Gillard officiating.

Burial will follow at Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery in Marble Hill with full military rites conducted by Missouri Honor Guard - Delta Team.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to Crown Hospice.
